The Horsewoman's Prayer

Dearest God in Heaven,
Give me the strength to guide my horse,
Make my hands soft, and my head clear.
Let my horse understand me and I her.

My heart you have blessed with a special love of these animals,
Let me never lose sight of it.
My soul you have gifted with a deep need for them,
Let that need never lessen.

Let my breath catch as the sun gleams on an elegant head,
Always let my throat tighten at the sound of a gentle nicker.
Let the scent of fresh hay and a new bag of grain always be sweet to me.
Let the warm touch of a velvety nose on my hand always bring a smile.

I adore the joy of a warm day on the farm,
The grace and splendor of a running horse,
The thunder of its hooves makes my eyes burn and my heart soar,
Let it always be so.

Dearest God grant me patience,
for horses are harnessed wind and wind can be flighty.
Let me not frighten or harm them,
instead show me ways to understand them.

Above all, Dear God, fill my life with them and when I pass from this world,
send my soul to no heaven without them.

Here's a monkey joke for fairy destiny

A man walked into a bar with 20 monkeys and sat down. He asked the bartender for a drink and water for his monkeys. The bartender said"What are you doing with all those monkeys? The man said," I'm looking for someplace to take them". Do you have any ideas? The bartender said to the man" Why don't you take them to Disneyland, they have a nice zoo there." The man thanked the bartender, finished his drink and left. Two days later he was back at the bar with the monkeys. The bartender asked him if he had gone to DisneyWorld and what happened. The man said," Yes, I took the monkeys on the roller coaster, then the water slide, they loved looking at the cartoon characters especially Mickey Mouse. Do you know of any other nices places I could take them?"

Dear Fairy Destiny I read your letter at the castle. Thanks so much for the nice words. I am having so much fun doing this for you. I hope someone gets to spoil me too. We all need a little spoiling now and then.
